How Do You Repack a Summit X3 Baby Jogger
Calificado en Estados Unidos el 15 de febrero de 2017 Estilo: Summit X3 Individual Compra verificada I purchased this cover for a Summit X3 stroller. It works great! It works great - keeps the weather out and your little one snug and happy. HOWEVER - after leaving this wet and crumpled up in the car a few times, the previously clear vinyl got horribly cloudy and yellow, to the point where it couldn't be used anymore. After some research, I learned that inexpensive vinyl doesn't have any sort of UV protectant or sealer on it and is prone to this sort of damage. I was able to restore, refresh and protect the vinyl with a liberal application of 303 Aerospace Protectant. It's great stuff! It cleans the vinyl and provides UV protection, extending the life of your cover. I easily applied it in about ten minutes (during nap time!) and my cover is almost like new. I'll reapply regularly to keep the vinyl supple and clear. My cover does have a small rip in it along the zipper, but that was entirely my fault - you have to take the cover off before folding the stroller. TL/DR - A great product, but Baby Jogger could use better quality vinyl. Fix cloudy vinyl with Aerospace 303 Protectant, and reapply regularly. Imágenes en esta reseña Calificado en Estados Unidos el 5 de noviembre de 2017 Estilo: Summit X3 Individual Compra verificada It's the worst thing that I've purchased. I bought it like a month ago and placed it under the stroller so it would be handy when we needed it. Last week it starts raining so I grab the weather shield to put it on the stroller. After only having it a month, the clear plastic was brittle and falling apart. It looked like swiss cheese with all the holes. I'm so disappointed with the quality. 1.0 de 5 estrellas It's the worst thing that I've purchased It's the worst thing that I've purchased. Calificado en Estados Unidos el 8 de enero de 2020 Compra verificada I purchased this rain cover in 2018 to use with our City Mini GT Double stroller. When not in use we fold it up as neatly as possible and slip it into the elastic pouch built into the back of one of the stroller seats. We do not use it on a daily basis but have used it several times on rainy day outings such as the zoo. We have also used it in the winter (we live in Ohio) for outdoor events like viewing christmas lights to keep the kiddos warm. We always make sure to let it dry out completely before folding it back up. When we fold it we do so in a way that the plastic layers are not against each other but instead are separated by the black fabric to prevent the plastic from sticking to itself. We keep it in the pouch on the back of one of the seats without any other items to prevent it from getting beat up while rummaging around. The stroller still folds with it in there. When we need it it installs easily with velcro, covers the entire stroller snuggly and does not leak. We have not experienced any yellowing of the plastic nor are there any tears after years of use. We LOVE this rain cover and so many people have stopped to ask us about it. We plan to use it when we take our kids to Disney World so we will see how it holds up to more frequent use, hotter temps and heavier rain than we are used to at home. Overall I think if you take good care of this rain cover it is a great accessory for the stroller. Calificado en Estados Unidos el 9 de marzo de 2018 Compra verificada Super disappointed. Note that this is a slightly different version from the rain cover than was available in 2014. Our first rain cover lasted three and half years with constant, fairly rough use (we are city dwellers and our stroller covers at least three miles a day on average). The new version ripped in two places with regular use in less than three weeks! It appears the stitching attaching the clear plastic to the black fabric is not tough enough (or the plastic is not strong enough) to withstand the tension when it is zipped closed over the open canopy. The stroller is I think a 2013 or 2014 Citi Mini GT, so maybe it is not universal to our older version of the stroller, but I can't imagjne the dimensions of the stroller have changed significantly since then. Should be labeled as such if so. 1.0 de 5 estrellas Ripped in less than 3 weeks with regular usage! Super disappointed. The first one lasted for 3 years, after which we lost it. So we bought a new one. Four months in and it has a good number of holes on the edge of the plastic and the zipper. See attached pictures. And no, it wasn't the kids, poking their fingers in it. It just fell apart! Quality has surely gone down, and while it was already expensive, the near 40 USD for a product that lasts 4 months is a very poor value for money. I would highly discourage people from buying this, if the quality does not improve. The first one was fine, the second one a total bust. 1.0 de 5 estrellas Broken after 4 months; BEWARE, DO NOT BUY!! Calificado en Estados Unidos el 17 de noviembre de 2016 Compra verificada I just received the BJ City Mini GT double weather shield and immediately put it on the stroller to see how easy installation is. Not too bad, it's pretty much the same as the Manito. Will update... Update: June 2017- Held up great through one NYC winter unfortunately it's begun to fog a bit. I will call BabyJogger and see what they have to say 5.0 de 5 estrellas Great rain cover Calificado en el Reino Unido el 11 de diciembre de 2020 Estilo: Summit X3 Individual Compra verificada It fits perfectly, is great for running in rain, or even just when it's wet out and prevents splashing puddles from soaking the seat. It velcros up either side of the handle and a loop under the front of the buggy, making it very easy and quick to put on and take off. Good quality and fit for purpose 5.0 de 5 estrellas Rain cover Calificado en Canadá el 17 de agosto de 2018 Compra verificada Read the answers from the seller that it works for the City Select Lux, IT DOES NOT :( .... honestly worth it, but would have been so much better if it actually fit. I feel i was mislead, but mistakes happen i guess. Too bad they never did help me out on trying to fix it. Not 1 staring this product cause its a good product, just it does not fit the City Select Lux, if only i had been told. 1.0 de 5 estrellas Ripped Calificado en el Reino Unido el 13 de agosto de 2020 Estilo: Summit X3 Individual Compra verificada Ripped after being used twice 2.0 de 5 estrellas I have had problems with other rain covers so thought ... Lots of Velcro, I'm not to crazy about that but the cover does not interfere with the tires or individual seat up and down movement. It covers the stroller completely no matter who is napping or not.
I was worried about coverage because my last BJ weather shield for the Versa did not fit properly and always slipped open on the sides.
This actually covers the whole stroller without air pockets.
Unfortunately, it's plastic and wrinkly, unlike the Manito shields that are clear and never bend.
I will keep this for now and take it out on a couple of spins in the NYC rain and cold and see how this holds up.
I mention the Manito because those are great wind shields not weather shields. If you look closely on the Manito package it clearly indicates not to stay in the rain for too long because the shield will soak through. That's the one point that holds me back from purchasing the Manito over this BJ shield.
